Installation instruction
Matériel et outils nécessaires :
- Aluminum poles of appropriate length
- Jack (lower part with mechanism)
- Bench (Top part which serves to provide a walkway for materials)
- Aluminum connectors to assemble the posts (if necessary)
- Aluminum walkways with non-slip surface
- Anchoring to roof or wall (if applicable)
- Adjustable or socket wrenches
- Spirit level
Installation Steps
1. Preliminary planning
Identify the required height for your Pump-Jack scaffolding and choose the appropriate length aluminum posts based on this height.
2. Surface preparation
Make sure that the surface on which you will install the scaffold is flat, stable and capable of supporting the load of the scaffold. Remove any potential obstacles.
3. Assembling the posts
(if necessary)
If your posts require aluminum connectors to reach the desired height, assemble them according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure connections are strong and secure.
4. Setting up the posts
Place the assembled or individual posts at appropriate intervals along the line where you want to install the scaffold. Make sure they are well anchored and vertical. Use a spirit level to make sure they are perfectly straight.
5. Assembly of aluminum walkways
Aluminum walkways are prefabricated and do not require assembly. Place them on the posts at the desired height. Make sure they are in place and level using a spirit level. Walkways must be stable enough to support the weight of workers and equipment.
6. Stability check
Before using the scaffolding, carry out a complete stability check of the entire structure. Make sure posts are securely anchored, walkways are secure, and everything is level.
7. Worker training
Before allowing access to the scaffold, ensure that all workers are trained in its safe use, including ascending and descending, as well as emergency procedures if necessary.
8. Use and monitoring
While using the scaffold, regularly monitor its condition and ensure that workers comply with safety regulations. Any anomalies or problems must be addressed immediately.
